Clippers beat Celtics 93-91

By KEN PETERS – 3 hours ago

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Zach Randolph scored 30 points, including the final three of the game, to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 93-91 upset of the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

The win was only the Clippers' 15th of the season. The loss was the Celtics' 13th.

Randolph hit a layup with 20 seconds remaining to give Los Angeles a 92-91 lead. Boston's Paul Pierce missed a 17-footer over the Clippers' Fred Jones from the top of the key with 10 seconds left. Randolph was fouled after an in-bounds play and made one of two free throws with 6 seconds left.

The Celtics had no timeouts left, and Rajon Rondo dribbled the length of the court before losing the ball, their 21st turnover of the game. The Clippers converted those into 21 points.

It's nice to see the Clips almost back to full strength, with Camby and Baron back, even better to see them get a win over Boston, and better still to hear chants of "Boston sucks" from the fans drowning out all the cursed Boston fans in the arena.
